Be Anything You Want to Be.

Be anything when you focus.

You can be anything you set out to be when you focus your efforts. You can be as good or as bad as you want to be. So if you want to be good you have to really want to be good. Success is just out there. It may be just beyond your reach. So you have to stretch a little further. You have to work a little harder and prove yourself just a little more. Along the way you are going to learn certain lessons, those certain lessons that life will teach you from being in different circumstances. I was listening to sports radio one day and this was a local station in town and the radio announcers (two of them) were having a discussion about the local football team. They said that the football team has a challenge coming up this week referring to the opposing team. So-and-so is coming to town. And one of the announcers said that these players are going to have to get rid of all distractions and stay focused on the game. They will also need to eliminate the need to make a whole lot of decisions. They don't need any major decisions to make in their lives right now. They just need to focus and concentrate on the upcoming game. Also I heard a discussion about how some football teams would take their teams and put them in a hotel the week before the game. They would stay there a week before the game to eliminate any chance of the players coming into contact with someone from the outside which could cause a distraction. When I first heard these things I thought that was very interesting. So in order to achieve great success you look at others who have achieved great success like Tiger Woods to Michael Jordan to Michael Jackson and I guess these people have very little to think about outside of what they do. Tiger woods when he was great as a golfer he only focused on golf. He did not think about too many other things. Distractions was minimized.Usually a lot of athletes spend a lot of their time away from family and friends so they can focus and eliminate any distractions. That way they can focus solely on their task of performing at their very best. They can focus solely on the task in which they have to do and give it their undivided attention. This is what helps them to enhance their performance.
So that is what is needed for many of us. We have to look at our own lives and look at the reason why we are not as successful as we would like to be. Could it be that the reason why we're not as successful is because of our inability to focus on one area and concentrate on one thing at a time? Often we concentrate when we are at work when we have a job. We concentrate on that task. We should not work in an unsafe way. So we are encouraged to focus on our task at hand by our bosses. That's what it's going to take in order for us to get that job done safely and effectively. The same thing applies to your dream. You are going to have to eliminate  all distractions. Get some place where you can focus solely on what you want to do, eliminating the need to make other petty decisions about other things. You can become excellent at something by applying this approach. How good could you really be at something if you can put everything you have into it. Imagine if you put your whole heart, mind, and soul and body and concentration solely on that task that is in front of you. You can become great at it. So you have to figure out ways in which you can do just that.

All groups Need To Prosper.

All Groups need to Prosper.

By Stan Thomas

Everyone in our society must prosper. It's very important for everyone to prosper no matter what your background is. Whatever the race, religion, or sexual orientation of the people, prosperity must be a priority. Prosperity benefits us all. It's always best to have all of our needs met at every time and point of space. It's always sad when you have    people who don't seem to really prosper. You have the rich on one side and the poor on the other side. Differences in wealth creates a lot of tension among people. You have the battle between the haves and the have-nots. At the end of the battle you still have the haves and the have-nots.  A good way to achieve prosperity I believe is to be careful what you focus on. What I mean by that is what you give your attention to. The challenge is to focus your thoughts only on prosperity and to forget about lack. Focus on what you    want to have in your life so you can draw it to you. Keep your mind off of the things you don't want in your life. This can be a challenging thing to do during difficult times. You can get very detailed about your thoughts. Just take your negative thoughts and just flip them. The negative thoughts tell you what you need to move away from. The opposite of your negative thoughts are how you get your positive thoughts.  You have to allow yourself to go there with your thoughts. So much of our upbringing has taught us to live in a limited way.  We're taught not to see ourselves succeeding in a big way. One example is if you are a person who hates driving everywhere, you can catch a cab or limo to get around   in.  You may think that being chauffeured in a limo is too extreme.  Just allow yourself to think about being so well off that you can afford to be chauffeured around town. Think about real prosperity, having others prepare your dinners for you. Instead of having so much work in your life imagine having other people to do the work for you.  Imagine living in the finest homes and driving the finest automobiles. How about sending your kids to the best schools to be sure that your child receives a good education. If a city or nation prospers greatly all schools can be the best schools. Good homes, good schools, good water and sewage systems, easy access to grocery stores and shopping centers are all a part of what it's like to experience great prosperity. And that’s something everyone needs to have.

The Trail

Do not follow where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Gain strength by suffering.

Gain strength by suffering
By Stan Thomas
You receive more when you suffer for doing good things. The reason why this law works (receiving more when you suffer for doing good) is because it builds you up. If you suffer for doing something bad, (which is usually a punishment), that is just to correct you to do what is right. When you are doing something good and you suffer for doing good, that experience builds you up and strengthens you. The thing to determine when you are suffering is whether you are suffering for doing bad or are you suffering for doing well. If you suffer for making a mistake on something (not necessarily doing a bad thing) it could have been something you have done in the past or past few days ago or a year ago that could have contributed to your dilemma.
Sometimes when you make a mistake on something you could be mistaken about something. Maybe you did not do your homework on something to be informed on what could possibly happen if you do not do certain things correctly. Sometimes things can go terribly wrong. I have learned that if you suffer for doing wrong it could really hurt you in many ways and it can set you back.  On the other hand if you suffer for doing what is right you are building an inner strength. Take for example if you lift weights. You work out. You go to the gym and you lift weights. What happens? You pick up all of that weight and you do some bench presses. You do your reps and your sets and you get tired.  Your muscles break down. Your muscles feel really sore and weak. After you rest those muscles from lifting weights and putting the proper nutrition into your body for several days your muscles begin to heal and grow. As a result, they grow stronger.
Lifting weights in the proper manner is a good thing to do for your body, and you will suffer some workout pain, and in the end your muscles will become stronger. Sufferings for doing good will break you down at first, and as you rest for a period of time and feed your soul with encouraging words, you will build back up. The building up process is enhanced by the proper nutrition of encouraging words, positive affirmations, prayer and meditation. Without these nutrients your spiritual muscles won’t grow as they should.
